Drone Technology That Sets the Standard | StratoClean Patent-Pending Engineering

StratoClean’s drone platform: 6-motor hexacopter redundancy, patent-pending fluid-steering nozzle, and the only 2-year warrantied building cleaning service in Florida. Pioneers of professional drone-powered facade and roof maintenance.

Pioneers of Professional Drone-Powered Building Maintenance

Drone technology that sets a new standard.

StratoClean’s drone platform is engineered around 6-motor hexacopter redundancy, a patent-pending fluid-steering nozzle, and chemistry built to keep buildings clean for years — not weeks. We are the only drone-cleaning operator in Florida to back our service with a 2-year written warranty.

Why StratoClean is Different

Most US drone-cleaning operators use commodity 4-motor platforms and a fixed-nozzle approach that requires repositioning the entire aircraft to aim the cleaning stream. Most are paid to come back as often as possible. StratoClean was engineered around a different premise: that professional building maintenance should be safer, smarter, and built to last between visits — not built around the next reapplication.

Industry Firsts

6-Motor Hexacopter Redundancy

Most US commercial cleaning drones are quadcopters — four motors, no redundancy. A single motor failure during a job means an uncontrolled descent near the building. StratoClean’s hexacopter platform has six motors arranged so the aircraft remains controllable and lands safely on five if one fails. No single point of failure.

Patent-Pending Fluid-Steering Nozzle

Every other drone-cleaning operator in the US steers fluid by maneuvering the entire aircraft — repositioning a 25–50 lb drone repeatedly near building infrastructure to aim a fixed nozzle. StratoClean’s patent-pending steerable nozzle aims the cleaning stream by articulating the wand alone, while the drone holds a stable standoff position. The result: cleaner coverage into eaves, balcony undersides, mullions, and recessed corners — and far fewer close-quarters maneuvers near complex infrastructure.

Two-Year Warrantied Clean — StratoShield™

StratoClean is the only drone-cleaning operator in Florida to offer a 2-year written warranty on facade and roof cleaning, via our StratoShield service. The active is a quaternary-ammonium compound — the same chemistry class used by Wet & Forget (NZ) and Bio-Shield (AU), the leading outdoor biocides in regions where aggressive year-round biological growth makes chlorine-based alternatives impractical. The chemistry disrupts microbial cell membranes on contact and leaves a long-acting residual barrier that suppresses spore germination for 2+ years. If biological growth returns within 24 months, we re-treat at no cost. Learn more about StratoShield →

Custom-Built Training Simulator

There was no industry-standard simulator for drone-cleaning pilot training, so we built one. StratoClean operators are recurrent-trained in a proprietary simulator that models real building geometries, wind conditions, and chemistry application before any billable flight. Zero accident record since founding.

Patent-Pending Safety Technology in Development

Beyond the steerable nozzle, additional patent-pending safety features are in our engineering pipeline — addressing failure modes the current US drone-cleaning industry has not yet engineered for. Details under NDA prior to filing.

Industries We Serve

StratoClean is built for commercial property at scale across Florida:

Credentials

  • Florida Licensed Mold Expert — founder Marcelo Pena is state-licensed for mold remediation; our chemistry and protocols are guided by licensed expertise, not just operator experience.
  • Proprietary customer mobile app — the only drone cleaner in the US with a dedicated iOS and Android customer application for quoting, scheduling, and job tracking.
  • FAA Part 107 certified pilots — recurrent simulator-trained
  • Fully Insured
  • MOT Certified — zero accident record
  • Manufacturer-warranty compliant — GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, Carlisle TPO, GenFlex EPDM
  • ARMA-endorsed soft-wash chemistry for asphalt shingle
  • Non-fluorinated, biodegradable chemistry — zero PFAS, fluorine, chromium, or heavy metals

Provisional Patent Applications Filed with the USPTO

StratoClean has filed two provisional patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office covering the company’s proprietary drone-cleaning technology:

  • USPTO Application 64/049,730 (Patent Center ID 75531056) — fluid-steering drone nozzle attachment that articulates the cleaning stream independently of aircraft motion.
  • USPTO Application 64/049,441 (Patent Center ID 75515174) — additional drone-cleaning safety technology (full disclosure under NDA prior to non-provisional filing).

Both inventions are currently in the patent-pending stage. Inquire for the full provisional application data under mutual NDA.
